UAL students voted overwhelmingly to support the strike. As a UAL student you will likely be spending several hours a week travelling and more so if you are a commuter student.
Arts SU recognises the stigma and misinformation that can exist around conversations about Mental Health. We want all our members to feel supported and empowered to talk about their well-being and feel able to seek support or advice if needed during their time at UAL. Therefore it is so important we open conversations about Mental Health, highlight the amazing services that exist for students and highlight ways we can prioritise our wellbeing every day. Warwick SU is supporting the NUS Student Safety Net campaign; pushing for all students to have access to a national hardship fund, and for those leaving education to be supported by a grant. The past week has been another busy one for the Full-Time Officer Team, as we’ve continued to share your thoughts and concerns with the University around some key issues. Your Full-time Officers have been working hard to continue representing students’ academic interests over the last week.

The day then ended with a screening of 'Heading For Extinction ' in The Graduate, with a discussion led by an academic from the University. The cost of living crisis is hitting students particularly hard. Although the picture is a little muddy, we have put together some basic facts that may help you find out if you are eligible.
Programmed as a response to requests made by Xhibit selected artists - the day utilises the students as a unique focus group to locate subjects, themes and ideas of relevance.
